Quality Assurance Process Flow
Quality assurance typically involves a staged or iterative process of evaluation of a project throughout its lifecycle and from multiple perspectives. Quality is assured through two main types of activity: guidance and auditing.
Guidance - focuses on providing input into the process prior to carrying out activities to support the adoption of suitable development methods.
Auditing - while guidance is aimed at avoiding problems with the product being developed or inefficiencies in the development practices, auditing serves to identify these problems when they do occur. The flaws are identified early as auditing occurs throughout the development process.
